Job Description

Pipefitter Foreman to lead crew in Detroit. Supervise pipefitting crew on industrial piping installations. Plan daily work activities and coordinate material and equipment needs. Review isometrics and verify field dimensions before fabrication. Ensure quality fit-ups that meet welding and inspection requirements. Track installation progress and maintain accurate quantity reports. Coordinate with welders, riggers, and other trades for efficient sequencing. Enforce safety requirements including permits and fall protection. Train and develop crew members to improve overall team performance. Interface with QC inspectors and address findings promptly. Manage crew productivity and timekeeping responsibilities. Must have foreman experience on industrial piping projects. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Foreman rates with full per diem provided.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years pipefitting experience with 2 years in foreman role. Proven leadership ability and crew coordination experience. Strong iso reading and work planning capabilities. Knowledge of piping specifications and material requirements. Experience managing productivity and crew timekeeping. Ability to coordinate with welders, riggers, and QC personnel. Must pass drug screen and background check. OSHA 30 certification required. Computer literacy for daily reporting activities. Professional communication skills required.
