Job Description

Concrete Form Carpenter for heavy civil work in Charlotte. Build concrete formwork for industrial foundations and structures. Layout and construct wall forms, column forms, and elevated decks. Install form hardware, snap ties, and bracing systems. Set anchor bolts, embeds, and sleeves accurately per drawings. Strip forms efficiently while protecting concrete surfaces. Build and set gang forms for repetitive pours. Work with crane operators for form panel handling. Verify dimensions and elevations before concrete placement. Install chamfer strips, rustication, and architectural details. Maintain and repair form panels for continued use. Must have concrete form carpentry experience on industrial projects. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Per diem provided.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years concrete form carpentry experience required. Experience building wall forms, column forms, and elevated decks. Knowledge of form hardware, snap ties, and bracing systems. Ability to set anchor bolts and embeds accurately per drawings. Experience with gang forms and crane handled panels. Must be physically capable of demanding construction work. Must pass drug screen and background check. OSHA 10 certification required. Must own carpentry hand tools. Reliable transportation required.
