Millwright Apprentice

We are seeking a dedicated Millwright Apprentice to join our team in Baton Rouge. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in precision alignment, equipment installation, and industrial maintenance. You will work alongside experienced millwrights to set, level, and align motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyor drives. Learn to use dial indicators, laser alignment tools, and precision measuring instruments. Assist with bearing replacements, coupling installations, and equipment rebuilds. Develop skills in blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the millwright trade with competitive pay, full per diem, and travel accommodations provided. Schedule is 5 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Overtime opportunities available based on project needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old with valid identification. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the millwright trade. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. OSHA 10 certification preferred but can be obtained after hire. Reliable transportation to job site required. Must own basic hand tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. Ability to work overtime including weekends when project requires. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety required.
