Safety Supervisor

Safety Supervisor for construction project in Jacksonville. Supervise site safety program and lead safety team on industrial project. Develop and implement job hazard analyses for work activities. Review and approve confined space, hot work, and lift permits. Conduct incident investigations and develop corrective actions. Interface with client safety representatives on program requirements. Lead weekly safety meetings and toolbox talk programs. Audit subcontractor safety programs and documentation. Manage drug testing and medical surveillance programs. Track safety metrics and report to project management. Drive continuous improvement in safety performance. Must have safety supervisor experience on major industrial construction projects. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Supervisor rates with full per diem.

• Minimum 5 years construction safety experience with supervisory responsibilities. CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety certification required. Experience developing and implementing safety programs on major projects. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation, and corrective actions. Ability to manage safety team and coordinate program activities. Strong leadership and communication skills. Must pass drug screen and thorough background investigation. Experience with client safety program requirements. Computer proficiency for reporting and documentation.
