General Laborer

General Laborer for construction site in Norfolk. Provide general labor support for industrial construction activities. Move materials and equipment to work areas as directed. Maintain clean and organized job site conditions. Set up and maintain barricades and safety signage. Assist skilled trades with material handling and tool staging. Operate hand tools and light equipment safely. Load and unload deliveries and distribute materials. Dig trenches and perform excavation support work. Mix and transport concrete and grout materials. Clean up debris and maintain housekeeping standards. Must be physically capable of manual labor and willing to learn. Schedule is 5 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Per diem available for qualifying candidates.

• Must be at least 18 years old with valid identification. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Must be physically capable of manual labor including lifting 50 pounds. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to follow directions and work safely around construction activities. Reliable transportation to job site required. OSHA 10 certification preferred but can be obtained after hire. Must be able to work overtime when project requires. Strong work ethic and positive attitude required.
