Job Description
Millwright Foreman needed to lead crew activities in Louisville. Supervise and coordinate millwright crew activities on industrial construction and maintenance projects. Plan daily work assignments and ensure adequate manpower and materials. Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily toolbox talks. Review drawings and specifications to verify work quality. Track progress and provide daily reports to supervision. Coordinate with other trades and resolve field conflicts. Mentor apprentices and develop team skills. Ensure proper documentation of equipment alignments and installations. Interface with client representatives and maintain professional relationships. Must have proven leadership experience and strong communication skills. Schedule is 6 days per week with 10 hour shifts. Competitive foreman rates with full per diem provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years millwright experience with 2 years in foreman role. Proven leadership ability and crew management experience. Strong communication skills for coordination with multiple trades. Ability to read drawings, plan work, and manage crew productivity. Knowledge of rigging, equipment setting, and precision alignment. Must pass drug screen, background check, and client requirements. OSHA 30 certification and first aid training required. Computer literacy for daily reporting and timekeeping. Must maintain professional demeanor with client representatives. Valid drivers license and own tools required.
